By car:
take the La Spezia exit on the A12 Genoa-Livorno Highway. We do not
recommend exit Highway tollgates of Carrodano or Brugnato.
The distance between the exit of La Spezia from Casa Capellini is about
20 km.
Drive through the city following the signs to Portovenere-Cinque Terre;
thereafter to the Cinque Terre,
to Riomaggiore (do not go into the villages of Riomaggiore) until
you get to Manarola. In Manarola there is a public parking to payment
and along the road they are drawn where it is possible to park.
It takes about 5 minutes. Once that you will be in the public square in
front of the church you will find us easy.
The house is in the highest part of the village close to the church
square, by the steps leading to the sea.
By train:
coming from Rome, situated on the Rome-Pisa-Genoa line, and coming from
Milan on the Milan-Genoa-Pisa line, get out at La Spezia Centrale. From
La Spezia Centrale you can easily get to Manarola by train. It
takes about 10 minutes.
From the exit of the tunnel of the train station, walk to the right,
uphill (it's a good climb) to the square of the church.
The house is in the church square, by the steps leading to the sea.
By plane:
The two nearest international airports are Genoa and Pisa, with both
cities having
regular train connections to La Spezia.
Airports connected better with foreign countries are those of Milan
Linate
or Milano Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino
